Graphic Design Portfolio

My Graphic Design Portfolio is where my painter's heart meets the practical, everyday world of words, images, and the messages that need to be seen. After years of teaching studio painting and graphic design at the university level, I discovered that arranging type, color, and shape on a screen can feel as intimate and expressive as working on canvas.

In this collection, you will find pieces created for real needs: posters that invite people into an event they might otherwise have missed, book and brochure layouts that guide the eye gently, and digital artworks that help small businesses and creative projects present themselves with clarity and warmth. Each design begins the same way my paintings do-with listening. I think about who will see the piece, what they might be feeling, and what quiet nudge they need to take the next step.

If you are drawn to visuals that feel human rather than slick, that is exactly what you will find here. I favor readable typography, thoughtful negative space, and color palettes that echo the natural world. You will see designs that work for print, for screens, and for those in-between places where a flyer on a bulletin board still matters.

You are welcome to simply browse for inspiration, or to explore with an eye toward commissioning or purchasing graphic work that aligns with your own project. As you look through the portfolio, notice which pieces make you pause. That pause is important-it means the design has done its quiet job of reaching out across the distance between maker and viewer. My aim is always that any graphic I create does more than "look nice"; it should help someone feel oriented, invited, and understood at a glance.
